- Develop and maintain strong existing customer relations and loyalty through ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer enquiries/complaints.
- Responsible for establishing customer profiles and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relations with Contractors.
- Together with Contractors plan and execute activities aimed on business development at assigned territories.
- This to include, but not to be limited with proactive encouraging Contractors to utilize DHL services and identifying joint opportunities for growth.
- Responsible for establishing Contractors profiles and Territory-level analysis / intelligence.
- Internal
- Advise and guide CSI & MNC global owners on the ways how to gain more business in allocated territories.
- Highlight to MU Country and Sub-Regional SSA Management on observations of market dynamics.
- Recommend to MU Country and Sub-Regional SSA Management territories with high growth potential for prioritization.
- Identify large, IP/ infrastructure and local conglomerate opportunities at MU market
Internal
- Maintain and support interdepartmental relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals.
- Support MU SMT team with guidance on prioritized development based on Customers & Contractors feedback and Market analysis.
- Maintain and support relationships with Customers, steering Customers Satisfaction, NPAs and other indicators.
- Maintain and support relationships with contractors to ensure engagement and alignment.
- Sponsor set of selected contractors, steering their performance in alignment with agreed goals.
- Benchmark and analyze Contractors rates vs market and steer them towards highest possible profitability while keeping requested level of quality
- Develops sales within allocated territories Plan/strategy/activities to achieve target budgets.
- Develop target lists of new business within existing portfolio and continuously review and update.
- Establish and present customized offers to customers and contractors.
- Negotiate with customers on contractual terms of service provision that is aligned to corporate sales policy and procedures.
- Adhere to approved credit limits granted to customers and enforce previously agreed payment terms.
- Prepare and realize planned Customer and Contractor visits.
- Responsible for product targets as defined within exiting portfolio.
- Responsible for budgeted growth in additional business within existing customer portfolio.
- Maintain all necessary information to assess credit worthiness of existing customer.
- Support receivables functions
- Ensure Customer commitments are clearly communicated to respective operations — clear business set up process.
- Report activities, quotes, sales calls and other information through standard DGF systems.
- Perform roles and responsibilities in compliance with Company Policies Procedures and Instructions.
Manage and lead MU M&S team ensuring proper work of department to achieve department’s goalsAutonomy:

- 3 Outstanding communication and negotiation skills and the ability to focus on outcomes.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships.
- Champion for development of successful sales engagement.
- Ensure a sound understanding of, show knowledge of and be strongly conversant in our industry workings
- Fluent French and English
- Minimum 8-10 years within the transport, logistics or freight forwarding industry (or similar service industry).
- Experience in sales environment with proven record advantageous.
- Graduate with supply chain and logistics field preferred.
