- Assist in preparing and posting general ledger entries, and in reconciling accounts using accounting tools
- Support the management of working capital cycles, including inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Assist in CAPEX-related activities and proper documentation
- Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of accounting records, providing support for maintenance of upstream controls
- Contribute to the review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures under supervision
- Partner with the internal control’s team for risk identification and mitigation strategies
- Assist in the research of technical literature support to ensure compliance with IFRS
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including group reporting
- Support the planning and coordination of month-end and year-end activities with wider Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely close
- Help analyse financial information and contribute to executive summaries, using productivity apps
- Assist in year end group reporting submission and produce relevant disclosure for annual financial statements
- Assist in the annual budgeting process by collaborating with business owners across the organisation
- Support the measurement of financial performance such as actuals vs budget analysis and help communicate results to Senior Management
- Anticipate risk and opportunities, devise corrective measures and proactively reporting to Senior Management
- Verify, record, allocate, and post supplier invoices in adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
- Maintain accuracy and cleanliness of AP-related accounting records by ensuring correct documentation, coding, and approval workflows.
- Support the end-to-end management of the Accounts Payable cycle within the working capital processes.
- Partner with Supply Chain and other business streams to ensure upstream data accuracy (POs, Goods receipt (GR), invoice receipts) and maintain smooth AP processing.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities relating to AP, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting submissions.
- Ensure AP processes comply with IFRS, internal controls, and company SOPs by maintaining strong documentation and audit trails.
- Contribute to system and process improvements within AP, recommending modifications to accounting procedures where needed.
- Support daily cash-related AP activities including monitoring due invoices and assist in cash flow forecast preparation.
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliation, ensuring all cross-entity balances are accurate, timely, and fully aligned with group reporting requirements.
- Support on ad-hoc requests from the Line Manager and Senior Management
- Partner with the internal controls team for draft SOPs and circulating with business streams
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors as required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, banking or a related field
- Partly qualified ACCA/ ACA/CIMA or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum 3 years broad-based Finance experience including general accounting and reporting operations
- Multinational exposure and audit practice is an advantage
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Effective time management and multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines
- Displays ownership by taking initiative and following through on responsibilities
- Sound understanding of end-to-end financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar automation/data visualisation tools is an advantage
