- Confirm, gather, understand and document customer requirements
- Consult customers on various options to address business requirements by:
- Leveraging best practices
- Considering downstream effects of configuration choices
- Applying deep understanding of data flow in Dayforce and 3rd party applications
- Considering product performance and cloud resources to optimize solutions
- Write SQL code to identify, troubleshoot and fix data as well as configuration issues in the customer’s Dayforce instance
- Understand, troubleshoot and modify XML and XSLT code
- Project Management
- Create and follow a project plan using effort estimation, outline action items, measure progress, make adjustments and follow the plan through to completion
- Provide customers with meaningful and timely updates
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects for a customer and maintain strong relationships
- Collaborate with customers, Ceridian resources and 3rd party vendors to conduct thorough testing and deliver a complete and high-quality solution
- Understand and adhere to Ceridian internal business processes to ensure customer success
- Demonstrate product expertise of the Dayforce application and how various modules interact
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Implementation and Support teams to identify gaps, implement processes and tooling initiatives to improve implementation quality
- Use negotiation and conflict resolution skills to drive projects to successful resolution
- Recommend continued product enhancements
- Support the Solutions Team by
- Providing mentorship and high-quality training materials
- Providing solution oversight for projects
- Create, document and optimize team processes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer related fields
- 4+ years of support experience or equivalent
- Superior communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
- Expert understanding of programming, HTML and Microsoft Server Technology
- Technical knowledge of XML and XSLT
- Solid exposure to hosting and change management protocols
- Previous experience in support, consulting and/or project management experience specifically in the HCM space
- Certification in the HCM space such as CPA Payroll Compliance Legislation and Payroll Fundamentals
- French language skills
- General office environment
- Ability to work flexible hours and willingness to travel to client site if needed
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
