Job Description:Job PurposeThe main responsibility of the Finance Intern will be to support the Finance Team in the updates of the General Ledger, accounts payable and follow up on ongoing projects. The selected candidate will also support Finance projects with the planning, tracking, execution and follow ups.Principal Accountabilities
  • Offer assistance to the General Ledger Accounting Team
  • Support General Ledger accounting activities
  • Assist in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Conduct account reconciliations
  • Participate in finance-related projects
  • Provide support during month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of journals.
  • Assist with the application of IFRS16 through routine reviews of lease assets.
  • Collaborate with other departments on finance-related initiatives.
  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/ Degree holder in Finance/ Accounting or any other related field.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Effective communication skills
