Are you ready to join us?Which tasks can you expect?H&S ManagementDevelop and implement policies: ensure policies and procedures are in place and enforced.Conduct drills, such as fire drills, to ensure equipment is properly functioning and staffs are aware of what to do in an emergency.Conduct investigations: respond to and investigate accidents and emergencies.Ensure the organisation is compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements, conduct trainings with staff to make sure they are aware of regulations and procedures and provide guidance.Administrative tasks: keep records of daily activities, monitor staff's absences on ground of ill health and maintain reference materials.Conduct Health and Safety committee meetings and liaise with external bodies; MEF, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Services, Ministry of Health and Quality of Life for H&S updates and coordination.Effectively communicate Health and Safety information to employees.First Aid ManagementResponsible of a First Aid Corner and provide immediate and basic care to an injured or sick staff before a doctor, other health professional or emergency services take over their treatment.Manages and keep a suitable stocked first aid kits and facilities.Train and mentor, an appropriate number of first aiders covering night shift and day shift.Note that other duties may be assigned by the People Manager as required.What do you have to offer?Holder of Diploma in Health and Safety from a recognized institutionEligible for registration as Health and Safety Officer with MinistryAt least 3-5 years in a similar positionGood communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsComputer literate - MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookWhat do we have to offer?Leaves: all types of leave granted from day 1 (annual leave, sick leave, study leave, maternity/paternity leave, wedding leave, compassionate leave).
