Job Description:Embark on a journey within MCB's Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) SBU - Strategic Office. As part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A) section, you will work closely with CIB's clusters to develop a strong understanding of business priorities, client strategies and commercial needs across units. Building on these insights, you will contribute to the development, enhancement and use of business intelligence capabilities to support origination, client coverage, performance management and informed decision-making across CIB.We are on the lookout for:Job vacancies: BI Lead & BI SpecialistAs Business Intelligence (BI) Lead, you will support the delivery of data-driven insights within CIB. You will contribute to the structuring, analysis, and interpretation of data to support commercial priorities and management information needs across CIB. Working closely with stakeholders within the CIB value chain, you will ensure that dashboards, analytics and insights are aligned with business priorities and support effective decision-making at both strategic and operational levels.As Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist, you will support the production and delivery of data-driven insights for CIB. Your role focuses on collecting, processing and analysing data to produce reliable dashboards, reports and management information that support commercial activities and strategic initiatives across the CIB SBU.Contribute to the design, development, and evolution of the Business Intelligence (BI) framework, defining how data and insights are captured, curated and shared across CIB units;Leverage client interactions, market signals and internal data to transform information into structured insights supporting commercial origination, cross-selling, innovation and strategic decision-making;Collaborate with key stakeholders (Coverage teams, Product teams, and regional commercial hubs) to ensure analyses anticipate client needs and inform commercial strategies;Generate data-driven leads and insights to support proactive portfolio growth and strengthen commercial engagement;Analyse local and international market trends to identify growth opportunities, competitive dynamics and product innovation levers;Translate BI objectives into clear plans, priorities, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs;Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant insights addressing commercial, performance and management information requirements;Support forecasting, modelling and scenario analysis to guide planning and decision-making;Ensure strong collaboration with the Data function, promoting alignment of objectives, data quality and shared initiatives;Act as a reference point for BI standards, data governance principles, and analytics practices;Drive continuous improvement of BI tools, systems, processes, and reporting solutions;Drive self-service analytics enablement across CIB SBU;Ensures proper documentation of datasets, models, dashboards and processes.In the role of BI Specialist you will;Support the collection, preparation, and analysis of data to meet business intelligence and management information needs across CIB;Analyse client interactions and market signals to generate relevant and actionable insights;Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure analyses are aligned with business priorities and decision-making needs;Support the adoption and effective use of BI tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions;Deliver timely and accurate analyses supporting commercial activities, performance tracking and strategic initiatives;Maintain data quality and consistency in collaboration with relevant stakeholders;Builds and maintains dashboards and reports using Power BI (or similar BI tools);Apply agreed reporting standards and analytics practices in day-to-day work;Contribute to the enhancement of BI systems, processes, and reporting outputs;Support the development of models, forecasts, and analyses for planning and performance monitoring;Documents processes, definitions, and logic to ensure transparency and maintain data governance standards.To succeed in this position, you will be required to accountable to meet commitments;Overseeing end-to-end BI delivery, from business requirements → data modelling → reporting/visualisation → deployment.To succeed in this position, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies:BI SpecialistMaking sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems;Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals;Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder;Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments;Translating analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business and commercial stakeholders;Works closely with the BI Lead/Team Leader BI&A to execute BI priorities, apply standards and contribute to cross-BU initiatives.We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of:For BI LeadEITHERBachelor's Degree in a quantitative, analytical or business-related field (e.g. business, economics, Finance, mathematics, statistics, or computer science) with strong exposure to data and analytics;Minimum 5 years' experience working with data modelling, BI/reporting tools, analytics platforms and/or translating business requirements into data-driven insights for decision-making.ORAt least 8 years' experience working with data modelling, BI/reporting tools, analytics platforms and/or translating business requirements into data-driven insights for decision-making.For BI SpecialistEITHERBachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical or business-related field (e.g. business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or computer science);Minimum 3 years' experience working with data modelling, BI/reporting tools, analytics platforms and/or translating business requirements into data-driven insights for decision-making.OR
  • At least 6 years' experience working with data modelling, BI/reporting tools, analytics platforms and/or translating business requirements into data-driven insights for decision-making.
