Key responsibilitiesResponsibilities
  • Manage and optimise the e-commerce platform and mobile app, including catalogue onboarding across all business units and coordination with IT and external agencies for integrations and enhancements
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, email, WhatsApp), manage SEO, and oversee product content production including descriptions, photography, and seasonal promotions
  • Track campaign ROI, monitor daily sales performance, and adjust strategies to maximise revenue growth and customer acquisition efficiency
  • Drive online sales targets through promotional campaigns, loyalty activations, and co-funded marketing budgets in collaboration with Business Unit Managers
  • Define and monitor SLAs for delivery, returns, and customer support; coordinate with Supply Chain and Distribution to ensure on-time, accurate order fulfilment
  • Manage digital support channels and customer service chatbot; track CSAT and NPS and implement experience improvements
  • Maintain performance dashboards (revenue, traffic, conversion, fulfilment KPIs) and present regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 across all digital customer interactions
  • Provide day-to-day direction to the Digital Marketing Specialist and collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Unit teams to align digital priorities
Education/ Qualification & Competencies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Commerce, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or FMCG retail
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, email marketing platforms
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods environment preferred
  • Project coordination experience is an advantage
  • Motivated self-starter who takes ownership of targets and delivers consistently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable working across platforms, tools, and data - always looking to learn and apply new digital trends.
  • Works effectively across teams and engages stakeholders confidently in both English and French.
  • Places the customer experience at the centre of every decision, from product listing quality to delivery reliability
