Key responsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced Freight Pricing Specialist to join our team in Mauritius. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive international air and sea freight costings, managing and negotiating rates with service providers, and supporting the business with timely, professional pricing and quotation solutions. The position allows remote work within Mauritius, with occasional in-office or client/service-provider engagement as required.Key Responsibilities

Prepare end-to-end shipment costings and quotations for international air freight and sea freight (import/export).
Request, negotiate, and maintain rates with carriers, consolidators, agents, and other logistics service providers.
Manage rate system, validity periods, surcharges, and pricing updates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Ensure correct application and interpretation of Incoterms when building estimates and advising internal stakeholders.
Analyse pricing structures to support market competitiveness.
Coordinate with operations, customer service, and sales teams to ensure pricing aligns with shipment requirements and service levels.
Maintain strong relationships with local and international partners and service providers.
Ensure all quotations are compliant, clear, and include appropriate assumptions, exclusions, and terms.

Candidate Selection Criteria:+ years' experience in the Clearing & Forwarding / Freight Forwarding industry, specifically in operations, pricing or estimates.

Proven experience preparing quotations for both international air and sea freight.
Strong working knowledge of Incoterms and how they impact costing, responsibilities, and risk.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage rates with multiple service providers.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with a service-oriented mindset.
