Job Description:MCB is continuously strengthening its focus on delivering a seamless and world class customer experience (CX) across all touchpoints. As part of this customer centric ambition, we are recruiting within MCB's Digital Business Unit for the Change Management Office (CMO), which is responsible for operationalising change initiatives across the MCB Group and ensuring successful adoption of CX driven transformations.We are on the lookout for:
Job vacancy: Change LeadThe Change Lead will be responsible for the successful implementation of new/enhanced Tech and Digital customer journeys as well as strategic bank projects in alignment with the organisation's Change governance framework.Reporting to the Manager Change Management Office, the selected candidate will also be responsible for coaching and delivering fully inclusive Change Management milestones during the implementation of a journey by collaborating with Business Units to implement changes, and sharing the impact story through the support of change executives to ensure successful implementation and drive adoption across the organisation.In this role, you will:
  • Support change initiatives by conducting analysis and tracking progress while anticipating, assessing and catering for impact of change for each customer journey to build a comprehensive change management plan;
  • Ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met;
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the change and limit the risks of organisational resistance to change and decision reversals, by engaging at the right levels of the organisation (SMEs, impacted BUs, leadership team, bank committees training and coaching sessions.) throughout the change;
  • Share and disseminate change story and roadmap for Group transformation programmes and priority projects;
  • Maintain the master Change plan and track progress against the plan, with inputs from Product Chapter, Project Management Office, HR Team, Change Specialists and Change Leads;
  • Ensuring coherence throughout overarching transformation programmes and customer journeys within CMO portfolio through adequate change planning and reporting;
  • Lead, develop and coach Change Specialists whilst ensuring proper people allocation concerning change deliverables within respective portfolios;
  • Co-create training plans with project teams to enable impacted actors to better adopt the changes;
  • Lead the team of Change Specialists in terms of the operationalization of the change;
  • Build hype and excitement on the upcoming changes while managing fears and concerns, as well as ensuring that the change sticks in a sustainable manner
We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of:
  • A Degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration;
  • 10 years' working experience in relevant business lines preferably within banking and/or Human Resource environment with demonstrated involvement in change management, transformation initiatives or large scale business change/projects, including at least 3 years of team leadership;
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end change initiatives and project management would be an advantage.
Or
  • 12 years' working experience in relevant business lines preferably within banking and/or Human Resource with demonstrated involvement in change management, transformation initiatives or large scale business change/projects, including at least 3 years of team leadership;
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end change initiatives and project management would be an advantage.
A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.You will be required to demonstrate
  • Proven ability to manage interpersonal relationships, and excellent communication skills;
  • Strong mediation skills for proactive stakeholder management while having a confident manner and high level of empathy;
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project exposure;
  • Operates well under ambiguity, and gets energy out of helping to develop, implement, and communicate;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently;
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Open and trustworthy personality that is able to establish trust;
  • Good Presentation skills and ability to convey complex concepts in a simplified manner;
  • Ability to handle disruptions while giving training and overcome group resistance;
  • Fast learner to be able to quickly grasp new concepts/processes outside his/her expertise competencies.
