- Lead, manage and coach a KYC/Onboarding team to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Apply strong technical expertise in financial crime compliance, including AML, Terrorism Financing, sanctions and related regulatory areas.
- Identify and assess AML risks effectively and design tailored KYC search strategies aligned to client and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate clearly and professionally while maintaining strong organisational skills to consistently meet tight deadlines.
- Produce high-quality, well-structured reports with strong written communication skills.
- Apply advanced analytical and organisational capabilities to support risk assessment and decision-making.
- Demonstrate proven people management skills, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

- Develop and implement robust systems, workflows, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.

- Leverage familiarity with capital markets or fund structures (advantageous but not essential).
- Proven experience managing and coaching a KYC/Onboarding team within the AML or Financial Crime environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial crime compliance, including AML, Terrorism Financing, sanctions, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to understand and assess AML risks quickly and develop tailored KYC search strategies.
- Excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail, with a methodical approach to assessing changing priorities.
- Demonstrated people management and leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams.
- Proven ability to design and implement robust systems, processes, and workflows.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, tools, and operational procedures.
- Familiarity with capital markets or fund structures (advantageous).
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in AML, Financial Crime, or a related compliance field.
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Law, Finance, or a related discipline; professional or postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
