- Provide leadership and manage the Finance and Controlling, Contract Management, Risk Management, Procurement, Legal, Data Privacy & Compliance team. Drive the day-to-day financial operations within AZS Mauritius, such as Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Billing, Pricing and Controlling. Responsible for Accounting (statutory, IFRS), Tax (VAT, CIT, withholding tax) and treasury in AZS Mauritius. Root cause analysis of revenue, operating costs and EBIT variances to plan and projections
- Managing all closing relevant processes and ensure proper cash management
- Responsible for reporting to local authorities (Tax Office, Statistical Office, National Bank, etc) and to Headquarter
- Providers' relationship management for services pertaining to tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary. Representation of the entity in front of external stakeholder (e.g. auditors, authorities)
- Manage the financial planning as well as pricing and support the Planning Dialogue (process) of Allianz Service and also contribute to Strategic Dialogue.
- Manage profitability of AZS Mauritius by taking relevant means; together with Operational Excellence functions ensure internal productivity gains are being realized and provide insightful information and expectations to senior managers to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
- Implement framework for price calculations for global products and services (e.g. rate cards) and take accountability for compliance with AZ Group rules and external regulations. Establish guidelines, governance for financial decision
- Set framework and standards for AZ Services Mauritius internal charges (e.g. internal overhead allocation)
- Master’s degree in Business Administration , Accounting, Finance and/or Controlling
- Spoken and written fluency in English and French
- 10+ years’ leadership experience gained in the financial domain of a customer-driven international financial service organization is a must
- Solid knowledge of local statutory requirements, Transfer Pricing rules and International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”)
- Strong affinity with finance systems and processes, and a track-record of driving complex global finance process improvements
- Competence in change management and able to translate necessary changes into operational and tactical plans and prepared to be „hands-on“ in the operations when required
- Able to think in end-to-end processes, beyond the boundaries of the own department and able to drive efficiency and quality improvements in the company’s processes
- Strong understanding of the contact center industry and global market trends.
