• Design, develop, operate, and maintain Foundation horizontal services (IAM, billing and subscription services, notification services, etc.)
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of API management for the Unified Data Platform
• Standardise frameworks and tooling for observability and monitoring
• Work closely with SREs, Software Architects, and Cloud Architects to optimise platform component
• Engage with engineering squads to ensure platform services meet product needs
• Contribute to operational excellence standards and best practices

• 7+ years of experience in backend engineering (preferably Java or Kotlin)
• Strong testing culture with hands-on experience in TDD, testing, and refactoring
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and distributed system architectures
• Hands-on knowledge of monitoring, observability, and automated testing tools
• Strong API-first mindset with attention to security and reliability
• Experience working in DevOps and Continuous Delivery environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to work with developers, DevOps, and SREs
• Comfortable working in pair or ensemble programming setups
