HR Officer

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, shortlisting, interviewing, conducting reference checks, and selecting candidates.
• Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes within the HR system.
• Prepare End of Probation reports and circulate to Heads of Departments (HODs).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
• Process monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
• Draft HR-related documents including memos, warnings, and official correspondence.
• Ensure communication and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes and support employee evaluations.
• Identify training needs and organize employee development programs.
• Foster a positive work environment by advising on disciplinary and grievance matters in compliance with Mauritian labour laws.
• Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Handle expatriate recruitment processes, including Work Permit and dormitory compliance.
• Prepare and present monthly HR reports for management analysis and decision-making.
• Coordinate training sessions and workshops (venue, facilitator, invitations, attendance, HRDC processes, and materials).
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of HR experience
• Knowledge of Mauritian labour laws and HR practices
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
