  • Plan, schedule, and oversee HVAC maintenance and aftersales activities to ensure seamless service delivery and minimal equipment downtime.
  • Lead and supervise HVAC technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring high productivity, technical accuracy, and strict adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify faults, maintenance needs, and opportunities for system improvements across client facilities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and OEM representatives for specialised HVAC repairs, warranty claims, and aftersales interventions.
  • Maintain detailed technical records, service logs, and performance reports for all HVAC systems and aftersales activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with Mauritian health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as industry best practices.
  • Monitor and control maintenance and aftersales budgets, ensuring efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programmes to extend system lifespan, reduce breakdown frequency, and enhance energy efficiency.
The Successful ApplicantA successful Maintenance Manager should have:
  • Extensive experience in the HVAC, MEP, or contracting sector, ideally within maintenance or aftersales environments.
  • Proven capability in managing HVAC operations, including planning, supervision, and on-site technical decision-making.
  • Degree in engineering or similar.
  • Effective team leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate technical staff.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, enabling smooth interaction with clients, technicians, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
