• Accounting Experience in mining sector

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing valuable insights to aid decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Provide support for ad hoc financial projects as required.

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA etc) with a university degree and a minimum of three years post qualification experience
• Good knowledge of accounting software (ideally MS Business Central) and MS Office with advanced Excel skills. Experience of MS SharePoint, Power BI/Power Pivot would also be beneficial.
• Mauritian tax experience will be advantageous
• Big six audit experience is essential
